Not all these players have declared leaving early for the NBA yet, but I thought it would be interesting to hear your opinions as to which player leaving would affect their team the most and why you feel that way. There is a high likelihood that all of these guys declare leaving early for the draft this year though Swanigan may come back next year.

Melo Trimble - Maryland
Miles Bridges - Michigan State
Caleb Swanigan - Purdue

OR ANOTHER PLAYER IN CONFERENCE.

In a related story, the ACC may be the conference where the landscape of players changes the most next year.. A lot of key players have declared early for the NBA draft. For those who need to take care of their families for financial reasons or even academic difficulty at colleges, TO ME that is understandable but the NBA product will continue to be hurt by encouraging some of these young players to leave early.. The other situation is making money before they get too injured but I think, for example, Henry Giles of Duke is making a huge mistake coming out early... Yes, the potential is there to be a dominant player but he barely had time to break the starting lineup at Duke and bigs need the time to learn the game...His stats don't justify entering the draft, that is for sure(4 points, 4 rebounds per game)... Ok, they project his potential but he needs to learn some nuances of the game. If his family needs the financial support, yes, but he is a kid that definitely needed another year or so at the college level, IMO.
