So far I've lived thru baling out the Hennepin County union pension plan along with, if I'm correct, the State of MN employee pension fund. Why do the dems never talk about reimbursing taxpayers individual retirement plans. I lived thru two extreme downturns and never fully recovered the lost money. My big income years were over shortly after the last large drop. I'm obviously not asking for the gov't to pay me back but it chaffs my ass when they do it for the unions. Looking back the main problem was their astronomical financial projections when interest rates were high and the stock market was booming. That shit never lasts forever.
