So, before the season I was ready to make a $5,000 bet on the Gophers to win the division.
I was sure this was gonna be our year.
At 4.5/1, that bet would have netted me $22,500.
However, the last time I placed a bet on the Gophers we got blown out by TCU.
Also, Annexstad got hurt around this time. I took that as a sign. I decided it would be bad juju to wager and didn’t wanna inflict bad luck on the Gophers.
Now that we are 8-0 with a 2 game division lead I feel like a ****ing moron for not trusting my gut.
Now everybody tell me how stupid I am cause I deserve it.
