Coming off a bye week last Saturday, MD was flat as a pancake at home against its opponent from Florida. Last night, Iowa State was flat after a bye week even though they were playing TX on ESPN in what should have been their biggest game of the year from an exposure stand point.
Will the Gophers, who are coming off a bye week, be flat tomorrow? Fleck said they practiced well on Monday--he said the "practiced hungry." But MD needs to bounce back in a big way and has last year's loss to motivate them.
On a more positive note, TX didn't look that great last night. They're struggling with their new offense and might not yet have the QB they need to run it. Sound familiar?
I doubt MD's RBs can run up the middle against MN. We really need this win. I'm hoping we get it.
