And a crazy thought following Rodney's season ending injury: How about rotating running backs, using them all for four games or less, to keep their redshirt intact? This would not include Ibrahim or Femi Cole, who've used their redshirt already. But you could rotate Williams (for two more games), Brooks (when he's ready), and Edmonds (has not played yet) four games (or less) each, and maintain their redshirt status.
I doubt the staff goes in that direction, but just a conversation starter. Go Gophers!
