Other Sports Gophers lose to #! Texas - 3-1

The Gopher volleyball team blew a 23-17 lead in the first set and a 20-18 lead on the fourth set in our loss to #1 Texas. Hugh didn't sub a defensive specialist for our outside hitters much, so we had a number of serve receive errors. I have faith in Hugh to clean things up before the NCAA Tourney. After seeing Texas play tonight, I think Wisconsin and Nebraska are better than #1 Texas. I believe the Gopher are a top ten team, but we will have trouble beating Wisconsin and Nebraska. We are probably on a level with Ohio State and Purdue, and if we improve, as we usually do, we could finish third in the Big Ten. I'm hoping for a deep run in the Tournament. We need to finish the game when we have leads like we did in the first and fourth sets tonight.
