This is a good article that focuses on the potential disadvantage facing geographically-challenged teams like Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. An early FB signing period (which sounds like it's going to happen at some point) would hurt teams like the Gophers if it doesn't also include the chance for kids to take official visits earlier.
