DePaul is entering year two under head coach Tony Stubblefield, who led the Blue Demons to one of their best seasons since joining the Big East last year with a 15-16 overall record, 6-14 in conference.

So far this season, the Blue Demons have notched home victories over Loyola (Md.) 72-66 and Western Illinois 86-74. Monday's matchup at Minnesota will be their first road game of the season.

KEY PLAYERS:

DePaul lost their top three scorers (and rebounders) from a year ago and have seven new players on their roster coming into this season.

Through their two games this season, graduate forward Javan Johnson leads the team averaging 19 points and 8 rebounds. He scored 24 points and notched 10 rebounds in their season-opening win over Loyola (Md.).

Oklahoma transfer guard Umoja Gibson is averaging 18 points per game and has dished out 14 assists so far this season. He's coming off a 24-point, 8 assist performance in the Blue Demons win over Western Illinois.

The rest of DePaul's starting lineup consists of the following:

- Eral Penn, a transfer from Long Island and former two-time All-NEC first-teamer, is averaging 9 points and four rebounds

- Yor Anei, a graduate forward who is averaging 7 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-10, 228-pounder is the team's leading shot blocker with six so far on the year.

- Jalen Terry, a junior guard that is 4.5 points and 4 rebounds per game.

- Da'Sean Nelson, a junior forward from Kilgore College, is DePaul's key reserve off the bench. He has scored in double-digits in both of the Blue Demons' wins this season and is averaging 12.5 points and 5.5 rebounds a game.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

- DePaul will go 10-players deep with nine of those averaging at least 10 minutes per game.

- The Blue Demons are shooting 50.9% from the field, 37% from three-point range, and 80.6% from the free-throw line.
