It’s good to be home. When you have 13 days away from home, that’s a long time.

Both Amir and Dupree are day-to-day. Dupree of course hasn’t practiced in forever. They’re both banged up and showing great heart. I appreciate that. Amir on the dunk last game re-injured himself a little bit.

We’ll have to try a bit of everything with lineups. Any time you play a smaller lineup, you give up something. It’s game-by-game with the best lineups.

Last year, when the team was 3-6 there were lots of signs that we’d be able to go on a big run. We were healthy, confident, and felt really, really good about where we were going. It’s a different situation this year health-wise and in terms of how we’re playing. There are zero similarities between this year and last year. Not going to give excuses but it’s a totally different team and situation. Message to the team is to take things day-by-day and empty the tank to the best of their ability, and we’ll continue to do that.

Need to be smart on the fastbreak with guys playing so many minutes.

There’s a lot of reasons why you could justify why we should be losing, but that doesn’t matter and you can’t accept that. You need to fight, scratch, and claw. Thought that happened against Northwestern other than a few minutes.

Since all that went down, our one win was when Nate, Murph, and Dupree all had big games. Want the team to play their best and be competitive and against Northwestern, we did that.

There’s a lot of good when you put Jordan at the 4. Going small is not always the default answer. Jordan’s comfortable at the 4 offensively and defensively. He needs to get post touches and a lot goes into that: posting up deep, ball faking, etc.

Eric Curry’s progressing along nicely. Incorrectly spoke when on the radio said that he could maybe play if he weren’t taking a medical redshirt.
