I read this today and it has stuck with me.
"This constitutional system will survive this election even if our windows do not. Those rioting will be triggered by the exercise of democracy, not its denial.
For the rest of us, this too will pass."
We live in rural America and I will choose not to break my neighbors windows, trash their truck or property. It is vital that we take a mature and respectful approach, shake hands and agree to hope for the best.
My hope is that those who choose to riot will soon come to the realization that their petty differences fall far short of the greater good of our country and our fellow citizens.
