Minnesota's regular season home finale against Nebraska will be a large scale recruiting event. So far, we have been able to confirm fourteen local high school players that will be at Sunday's game. We are posting this as a forum thread because it is a fluid situation and names will almost assuredly be added throughout the weekend. There are some other players that we are aware of, but we haven't been able to get exact confirmation yet.

Class of 2020

Kerwin Walton -
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Minnetonka, is ranked No. 87 by Rivals, and will have a big decision coming up soon. Minnesota is in the hunt along with Arizona, Creighton, Iowa State, North Carolina, and Iowa. Look for it to happen this spring after the high school season is through.

Goodness Kpegeol -
Goodnews is a 6-foot-6 wing who went to North High School in St. Paul. He enrolled at Kansas State on December 31, 2018. He didn't play in any games that season and received a redshirt. He entered the transfer portal last spring.

He went from there to Southwest Mississippi Community College where he played this season. He was deemed a freshman eligibility wise this past season. In 24 games, he averaged 12.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

Ariel Bland - The 6-foot-7 senior from Eden Prairie has an offer from Southern Utah.

Class of 2021

Treyton Thompson -
The 6-foot-10 junior is from Alexandria, but attends La Lumiere in Indiana. More importantly, he committed to Minnesota back in late November. His team will be competing in the Geico National Championships later in the month. After that, he will be with Howard Pulley of the EYBL Circuit.

Chet Holmgren -
The seven-footer will be attending with the Minnehaha Academy and Grassroots Sizzle contingent. He is currently ranked No. 4 by Rivals in his class and has a five-star rating. He has been to The Barn a couple of other times this season. Holmgren has a Gopher offer.

Hercy Miller - The 6-foot-3 junior is originally from California, but moved to the Twin Cities over the winter. He attends Minnehaha Academy and plays with Grassroots Sizzle. He originally had a Missouri offer, and he picked up another one from UCLA this past Wednesday.

Will Tschetter - The 6-foot-8 power forward from Stewartsville is making quite a splash of late. He has recently picked up offers from Northern Iowa, North Dakota state, Augustana, South Dakota, Colorado State, and Loyola Chicago. Expect high majors to come in the near future.

Cade Haskins - The 6-foot-6 wing attends DeLaSalle in Minneapolis. He has an offer from North Dakota.

Class of 2022

Camden Heide -
The 6-foot-5 wing from Wayzata plays with the D1 Minnesota organization. He is ranked No. 37 in his class by Rivals. Heide has a Gopher offer.

Prince Aligbe - He is ranked No. 46 in the 2022 Class. He is another who plays for Sizzle and attends Minnehaha. This will not be his first game in Williams Arena either. Heide has a Gopher offer.

Trejuan Holloman - The three-star point guard attends Cretin Derham-Hall in St. Paul and plays with Howard Pulley. Although he is not ranked by Rivals, he most likely will be in the future when the rankings expand to the Top 150. He is also very highly sought after with offers from Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Baylor, and Texas.

Chase Carter - The 6-foot-5 sophomore attends Minnehaha Academy as well and plays with Grassroots Sizzle. He is the son of former Gopher standout, Randy Carter. He has a Gopher offer.
