to see how incredibly disappointed the 5,000 to 6,000 fans were. This is good. The bar has been raised. The Mason years fans would have been giddy about what a great win this was. Yes, there were a multitude of Leidner critic's, but even more on the coaching/game plan. Given the opposition, a lot of the people we talked too said it was Coach Kill's worst game as a Gopher. Soon as Steveler came in the two plays he ran CSU immediately filled the gaps anticipating the run. The Gophers didn't run any misdirection plays at all. While I thought the defense played great, the QB for the most of the game had little pressure. We never once blitzed a corner until the 4th quarter. Remember, the is a CSU that didn't have Higgins their best receiver for the game and lost their second best receiver the second play of the game. The kid that caught the 49 yard slant pass wasn't even on their two deeps. Btw.. CSU fans were great and the city of Fort Collins hopping. The game was sold out with a great atmosphere.
