PJ

I think that PJ bails out of the boat after this season.
Making a bowl game is iffy.
He can't beat Ferentz--who plays the same game he does with a little more panache.
NIl is hurting the program, and unlike many schools, we don't have a sugar daddy alumni who gives massive amounts. Look at the states wealthiest people, and none are Minnesota grads.
Lastly; next years home schedule will find us an underdog in each BIG game: Penn.St., Iowa, Maryland, and USC.

Football ***FLECK PRESSER: MICHIGAN POSTGAME***

- Loss falls on him, 100%
- Michigan beat us in every facet of the game
- Michigan was really efficient and they were off-schedule
- Loves how hard their guys keep playing - played 10 freshmen or redshirt freshmen
- Their are reasons to get better, but no excuses

- Michigan won the line of scrimmage, period
- Got to keep improving, get healthy, gotta get our starters back at a number of positions
- Got our ground game going, but would always have something that would set it back
- Our guys need reps and just keep playing, mentions Craig McDonald got reps when Jack Henderson got injured
- That's the first half of our season - we've seen everything already
- Played really good teams, draw a line in the sand, and get better in the second half
- We have to do everything better
- We're a little younger and a little inexperienced at certain positions

Annoying

Half way into the season, I see a Minnesota team that is not getting better week to week.

I think you can make a strong argument that this is Fleck’s poorest coaching job since he got to Minnesota.

Span-Ford is non existent in the passing game. Well, there virtually is no passing game period. High school teams have a better passing attack than this bunch.

The offensive line is as bad a pass blocking unit as Callahan has had to work with.

Athan has zero time to throw.

Defensively there aren’t any impact players.

Just not a good football team. And with USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington coming in, it has the potential to get uglier.
