How fun was it to watch essentially a clean game. No late hits, no tic tack P-Is, no OL holding, no out of the blue pick play calls!. While Claeys and CMU coaches deserve tons of credit for coaching their teams to be disciplined during the bowl practices, it still comes down to the refs making judgements on various parts of the game - and in this case not making them. It changes the game for the better. Loved when the ref said something like "no more discussion, let's play". On many occasions in all games this year, I saw way too many flags on plays far away from the ball that really screwed one team. Loved the way this crew managed this game to have minimum penalties on both teams.
