Amir Watts does not mention Minnesota and has visits set elsewhere. The Gophers are very much in the hunt for Watts, but like I've said before, they're on the outside looking in right now. I think now that Claeys no longer has the "interim" tag, we'll start to see the staff make a pretty significant push for him.
Tony Butler didn't put Minnesota in his final two. I do think the Gophers really liked Butler, and him excluding Minnesota from his final two isn't a big deal because Minnesota is kind of keyed in on Kiondre Thomas and Coney Durr at the moment, and they don't have room for a third corner. Butler has also made lists before and revised them, and maybe that happens again.
Both recruits have a ways to go and don't plan to decided until near Signing Day so what they're saying now isn't the end all be all.
