My wife graduated from a small high school in northwestern Iowa. Her class holds an annual reunion, which about half the graduates attend, in the city of residence of one of the classmates. This year it was held in Madison. The host spent his career at the U of W and is, of course, a huge Badger fan so he and I go at it pretty good. While there he arranged a tour of the campus including the football training facility and Camp Randal Stadium. I actually stood on the big W on the fifty yard line. The point of this narrative if to tell where they display the axe. It is encased right where the players walk through to the field. They see it every single day they are in that building. Talk about a constant reminder. Anyone know where we display it at our place when we have it. It's been a long time since it's been here.
