I was under the impression that the Gophers played in a game last week. I must have been wrong. I spent an hour watching " Big Ten and Beyond" advertised as a review all of last weeks Big Ten action. Not a word about the Golden Rodents. Actually well over half of the show was devoted to the BT East ( as frequently is the case) Grrr.
On another subject,every one I talked to was amazed that Patterson had his meal ticket carry the ball twice after the recovered on side kick. Yes a first down would have assured a victory but there was little chance that they would loose if they didn't get one and had to punt ( which happened any way). Risking an injury to the meal ticket seemed reckless to us.
