Bryce Williams yesterday? One thing the past 2 weeks has reminded me of

...is the fact that in CFB it’s difficult to move the ball consistently when you lack an elite RB.

Williams barely played yesterday. Anybody know why that is?

Under Mason we virtually always had at least 2 elite RBs and often 3 guys who were above average.

Under Brew and early in the Kill regime we didn’t have that and it hurt a lot.

But since then we’ve had David Cobb, Rodney Smith, Shannon Brooks, and Kobe McRary.

Cobb and Smith are elite and Brooks and McRary were really good players too.

Now we’ve got one RB who has limited athleticism in Mo, and another guy who is a true frosh in Bryce Williams.

And it’s really hurting our offense and making it easy for defenses to tee off on the pass rush.
