Link: Durr enjoys Minnesota visit, has a tough decision ahead

Coney Durr recapped his Minnesota visit with me, which he loved. Before his Kansas State visit, I thought the Gophers were the slight leader, after the visit I thought KSU was the slight leader, and now after his Minnesota visit I'm torn. He really did like his Kansas State visit, and I don't think one visit was better than the other. So tie goes to the team who has Sawvel as his position coach, right? Well, I don't think we can make that assumption in this case because Durr's spoken highly of Kansas State's defensive coordinator, who has made multiple stops in the NFL and played a role in Champ Bailey's development.

It's going to be close. I would lean slightly towards Minnesota right now, and that's assuming that Claeys is announced the permanent head coach. It sounds like Durr is willing to wait to see how Minnesota's coaching situation plays out.

Will Coney Durr and Kiondre Thomas keep their spots by waiting? I believe so. Unless it's really approaching Signing Day, I think their spots will not be given away, even though there are targets out there who were offered in the summer who might want to take their spots.
