I really like this kid’s play. He made a HUGE play on IU’s 4th possession with us up 14-9. IU was driving and went with a reverse that may have even been intended to be a reverse pass. Well, Coney read that play like a book and blew it up for a big loss that forced the Hoosiers first punt of the night.
Had he been fooled, who knows where things end up. Our D had been on the field way too long up to that point. Might have been the defensive play of the game.
Coney has made several other nice plays with good tackling and I appreciate his efforts.
