Roddy was supposed to take an official visit this past weekend to Wyoming. This was to be his only football visit. According to a source, it has been confirmed that he did not make the trip. The same individual also told us that he believes Roddy will decide to play basketball and the three schools will be Minnesota, Northwestern, and Colorado State.
Of that group, we were told that Roddy would love to play in the Big Ten, and the Northwestern school and program is one that he has been fond of. Northwestern seemingly as some advantages, but Minnesota is hoping that the four former Howard Pulley members who are on the Gopher roster can help sway him to stay home.
Look for Roddy to make his decision very soon. He told us he would make it right around the end of his high school football season. He almost assuredly will commit during the Early Signing Period.
