Summarizing what P.J. Fleck said during Monday's press conference as the Gophers prepare for Indiana:

- Came out pretty healthy after Saturday's game with Iowa
- Had three or four drops that were pivotal in terms of offensive opportunities, also dropped two interception possibilities
- OL responded really well from the Illinois game, some of our best players are up front
- On two teams that scored more points against Iowa than they did, only one other team that has gained more yards on Iowa than they did
- However, a lot of opportunities missed on offense and defense
- That is still the best we played in that environment at their place
- Gives credit to Iowa for finding a way to win

- Tanner responds really well
- Wasn't just Tanner, there were times that we dropped to many balls
- Have to be efficient with the small amount of throws we had in that game
- Some balls we dropped that were within our catch radius
- Have to make those plays and keep the chains moving

- Players were disappointed, but had a heck of a day on Sunday

- Indiana is a team that has a wonderful football coach in Tom Allen
- Treating them as an 8-2 football team, not 2-8
- They've lost to six ranked teams and played a lot them really tough
- They turned the ball over six times in their last game, don't expect that to happen again
- We've told our football team exactly what I've told you

- Our TE's are playing pretty well
- Our WR's haven't really been able to get into a flow
- RB's, we have two freshman guys back there, they are talented, but they are freshmen

- Parody in the Big Ten is incredible
- Always close games every week
- Ohio State has set themselves a part
- Everybody else can beat anyone on any given day

- We're 3-3 in one possession games
- Margin for error is close
- Every point matters, every possession matters
- We didn't win the tackling battle, and tied in the explosive play battle

- Justin Walley is already a phenomenal football player for us
- He got beat deep, don't want that to happen all the time, but he has to know what that feels like
- We're going to keep throwing him back out there to learn
- He had a chance to get an interception, did everything right except catch the ball
- Got blocked into the punt returner, it's still his fault
- Those are things he'll learn from
- I'm putting him back out there, I have all the faith in the world in Justin Walley

- On Ko Kieft: two best games were Ohio State and Iowa game
- He has evolved as a player
- He's so smart and intelligent
- Believes he'll be on an NFL team
- He's what football is all about
- Prime example of a development program
- One of the toughest football players we've ever coached
