Mrs. Go4Roses and I encourage GI subscribers to contribute $51 to the Gary Tinsley Fund through the University of Minnesota Foundation. Gary, "Hacksaw", to some, turned his collegiate career around to become a true leader of the Gopher football team and died tragically of complications of an enlarged heart. We've become annual contributors because of how he touched our hearts, though we never had the chance to meet him. The essence of a Golden Gopher is the legacy he has left behind.
