In today’s college basketball, there is no such thing as a program. It’s a rental service and why I don’t think Niko has much of a chance is 2 reason….
1. Average players, not even good players are getting a bag from somewhere.
2. Our studs have generally been MN kids (Oturu, Coffey, etc) and even if we didn’t get them the first time, we had a chance at the rebound. Now we don’t even have that. Our best chance to have the best players typically come from Mn (like Garcia) but with today’s landscape it’s about elevating your game and then seeking a pay day…. Truth is, that pay day isn’t coming from MN
I’ve already tempered my expectations and wish Niko the best, but he has a massive issue he will have to navigate
