USCHO Poll | Gopher Hockey Tickets Now on Sale
MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSports.com) – The Gopher Hockey program will kick off the 2017-18 campaign ranked third in the nation, according to the Preseason USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll released on Monday.
Defending national champion Denver and Boston College were ranked ahead of Minnesota. The Gophers were tabbed the preseason favorite to win the Big Ten last week.
The 2017-18 schedule will have the Maroon & Gold facing off against at least eight teams listed in the preseason rankings with a ninth matchup possible. The Gophers will see Harvard (No. 4), Minnesota Duluth (No. 6), North Dakota (No. 7), Notre Dame (No. 8), St. Cloud State (No. 9), Penn State (No. 10), Wisconsin (No. 12) and Ohio State (No. 19). Minnesota could also face Union (No. 16) in the Ice Breaker Tournament.
The Gophers host Alberta in exhibition action on Sunday, Oct. 1. Single-game tickets, season tickets and flexible Pick-Your-Packs are currently available at MyGopherSports.com, by calling 1-800-U-Gopher or by stopping by the ticket office at 3M Arena at Mariucci.
