Gophers vs. St. Thomas in Basketball

I understand that St. Thomas would like to be like a Marquette in basketball. Therefore a home series with St. Thomas would be good for the state. And create a rivalry. Does anyone why this is not happening? Is the reluctance to schedule this series come from the Gophers or from St.Thomas?
