I'm 52 year old. I've been an avid, die hard Gopher sports fan for 40 years. I live 200 miles from the Twin Cities, but as a football season ticket holder, I've been up and on the road by 6 a.m. on fall Saturday mornings to make those dreaded 11 am kickoffs.

But why should I keep supporting a University that won't support its own student athletes? Why?

For the first time, I actually feel embarrassed to be a U of M supporter. And I mean embarassed.

It blows my mind that some equal opportunity office run by a bunch of femi-nazis (a Rush Limbaugh term I know) wants to EXPEL some of these kids for a crime that prosecutors deemed was never committed?

WHAT THE HELL AM I MISSING?

I need to be talked off the ledge, because I am THIS CLOSE to being done with this University for good!!!

As others have said, have your half empty football stadium Mr. Kaler. If this University won't support its own student athletes, that sends a message that they're not important enough for me to support either. And that makes me sick!!
