Brad Underwood has been a successful head coach for the last 4 years... 3 years at Steven F Austin and 1 year at Oklahoma State..... The fact that it was only 1 year ago he got hired at Okie State is a shocker.....He has gotten his teams to the NCAAs all 4 seasons as a head coach so that is a good thing...The fact that he had only 1 year at Oklahoma State probably does not sit well with the Cowboy fans down there...Apparently he is a good coach but EEESSHH.. One year at Okie State then leaves.. That doesn't look the best.. Almost a career climber/job hopper of college coaching and I am sure we will hear about it......Still, Illinois got a guy that has won...Not a real young guy as he is 53 years old to start...... Hope it works out for the Illini but not against us. All 4 years were 20 win seasons and 2 of the years at SF Austin, he won his first round games in the NCAAs.

As a side note, Brad Stevens told the press that he was NOT interested in the Indiana job... They will have other good choices... Still wont be surprised if it was Archie Miller or Chris Mack......Alford may not be an option as I have heard that Indiana may not be interested in even pursuing him.
