from "Behind Enemy Lines" with Iowa RIvals guy:

Starting left tackle Boone Myers was injured in camp and tried to play through it early in the year at guard. He’s essentially been shut down the last few weeks.

In the second game of the year, starting right tackle Ike Boettger tore his Achilles and was lost for the season.

The past two games, Iowa’s starting tackles have been redshirt freshman Alaric Jackson on the left side and true freshman Tristian Wirfs on the right side.

Both have bright futures, but probably weren’t ready for this type of workload at this point in their careers.

Starting center James Daniels missed time early in the year and while Iowa hasn’t said anything, he doesn’t look like he’s 100% right now.

Basically, the offensive line has been unsettled and it has gotten a lot younger when you replace a pair of fifth year seniors with freshmen.

Teams have also been aggressively attacking Iowa’s bread and butter, the stretch play and as a result, Wadley has had no room to run and at times, he’s been fortunate to get to the line of scrimmage.

Iowa is just 12th in the Big Ten in rushing offense at 131.6 yards per game.
