but I couldn’t believe that the hired security team that checked people in at the gate were wearing Iowa team colors. It’s homecoming against a main rival and nobody in our athletic hierarchy could make sure that these people were dressed in gopher colors or at the very least in a neutral color uniform. It’s small things like this that sets a standard for the department and school. If this was my business I would have addressed it immediately and gave them gopher shirts to wear. But I’m sure no one in authority even noticed. Must be too busy thinking of a new promotional idea..
