JOE ROSSI:

- thought defense played hard against Bowling Green
- thought it was DeAngelo Carter's best game
- have to be able to use your hands in college, thought Carter was really good at that early on and will continue to do
- Val Martin gives them some twitch and change of direction, can also get skinny on blocks
- say a lot from Rush as a linebacker in terms of length and effort and thought it would translate well to a rush end
- length and twitch shows up at the rush position and Rush also plays incredibly hard, has gotten really comfortable at the position throughout the season
- wants to get Michael Dixon on the field and give him a role, has length, range, and speed - continuing to get him reps in games
- thought team has responded well during practice this week coming off the loss
- tremendous challenge to contain Purdue's skill players
- David Bell is one of the better players in the country
- WR's have a lot of speed
- overall doing a good job in the run game
- want to continue to win one-on-one matchups, have seen improvement there the last two weeks
- on Purdue's two QB's: 13 is longer and has tremendous athleticism, able to scramble and create. 16 goes through his progressions, both get the ball out very quick. Their offense is consistent no matter who is in there
- thinks they'll see both quarterbacks on Saturday
- thinks Sori-Marin has played really well in the last two games
- Purdue does a really good job of getting the football out at the QB position, doing a good job of protecting the QB

MIKE SANFORD, JR.:

- need to get Morgan into more of a rhythm against BG, that was lacking
- thought they started out well in the passing game, but tapered off throughout the game
- this week is a new week, a new season, first game in the Big Ten West
- things they have guys that can create yards after catch
- lacked the consistency of those chunk passes and the ability to connect on those against BG
- has been a week of response and growth, has all the confidence they will respond this week
- has seen a lot of excitement about what's in front of them from the players throughout the week
- says practices have been fast and players have stepped up and responded this week
- says Tanner is a warrior, he's very prepared
- he's going to continue to prepare Tanner and the QB group in better ways
- calls some of Bowling Green defensive looks "junk ball"
- Falcons had a lot of different looks they weren't prepared for
- says OL played really hard and they are going to continue to get better, they've carried their football team at different times this season
