Jornell Manns did more than his share of work for the Mansfield Tygers but it just was not enough as Bay Rockets beat Mansfield 28-18.. Unfortunately, that is the end of the prep career of Jornell as he goes down as one of the greatest Tygers of all time.... He finished his career with a last game total stat line of 21 carries for 181 yards and 2 tds.. TD runs of 1 yard and 17 yards.... It has been a pleasure to see his games and highlights so this kinda makes me sad but I am SO EXCITED TO SEE HIM IN THE MAROON AND GOLD NEXT SEASON!!!!!
Again, so impressive as Manns had all those yards and tds against a team that had 4 shutouts this year and 2 games where they had only given up 3 points and 7 points.. Bay is still undefeated and moving on to the next round. Mansfield ends up with a 8-3 record.
