I am totally cool with wearing an undershirt or headband that says something about equality or putting a Bible verse or #BLM on your shoe to show your religion/beliefs.
What this idiot did was beyond stupid. Does he not realize that the Star Spangled Banner is about people of all races, ethnicities, genders, and religions that have fought, are fighting, and have died to allow him and all of us to live in a free country where he gets to make millions of dollars.
I have stood for hundreds of these in my years and i still get filled with emotions of appreciation and thankfulness every time. **** him. I hope he never sees the field again. If he has no love and respect for what people have done to allow us to live here, maybe we should trade him to Syria for one of their refugees that would love the chance to live here.
He has now moved into my "hated athletes" category along with the athletes that have abused women, kids, and animals.
