1. He knows the interworkings of the U's athletic department, both politically and in functionality. ..
2. He know President Kahler and the regents...
3. He lives in Minnesota and is still in tune with key Alumni...
4. He knows Coach Clayes and will make football the number one priority....
5. It's a" Barry Alvarez" type situation. .
6. He might be getting tired of making that trek to Chicago every week...
7. Give him a 5 year deal and groom Goetz as his replacement....
