Was looking at the rankings to see if we will make it in tomorrow. Here's what I came up with.
I think Maryland, Creighton and Virginia fall out, opening up three spots. Our competition for those spots are the teams ranked ahead of us last week:
VCU 23-6 and lost to Rhodi Island today
Northwestern 20-8 and lost to Illinois
Iowa State 19-9 and just beat Baylor today.
South Carolina 21-8 and had 3 losses before beating Tennessee
USC 21-7 has lost 3 in a row
Dayton 23-5 has won 8 in a row.
Middle Tennessee 24-4 and won 4 in a row
Oklahoma State 20-9 and won 5 in a row.
Not sure what some of these teams did to deserve more respect than us, but have to believe we are ranked and would say it should be 23. Not sure about the coaches poll because we didn't even get a sniff last week for some reason.
