Gophs have won two of last three.

They are coming off two emotional, physical losses to Bucky and Buckeyes.

4 Big Ten wins: @NW 24-13, IL 31-16, @IN 27-22, Purdue 27-14 (was down to Boilers 14-10 at half).

3 pt non-con win vs Oregon doesn't look as good with Oregon now 1-5 in PAC.

Last year, Newby, Martinez, Pierson El, the TE Carter had good plays. They won the battle up front, running for 203.

Gophs ran for 271 and 285 vs Huskers in 13 and 14. 65 last year.

I think our running game and run defense is in better shape this year.

We gave up big punt return last year, got no turnovers, turned it over 3 times.

I hope we continue solid protect the ball/get ball trend.
