New PS4 or Xbox One?

Anyone know which gaming system is better? I have a PS2 and Wii for kids. Now may be time to get new system for Christmas. So any info would be appreciated. I have read that more data storage (1TB vs 500 GB) isn't as up to date as newer system, etc.

Also what add-ons are crucial. Thanks
