Just thought I would give a few comments on the team in conference that will probably be the odds on favorite to win it.

Format started as just a tap football game.... Urban Meyer feels you either dont play guys that are hurt in the spring or you back off on the hitting to let them play. He chose the latter. WENT TO TACKLE WHEN THE RESERVES CAME IN THE GAME.

Lou Holtz and Phil Knight(Nike) were the honorary coaches... Lou still looks like he is doing ok but does not get around as well as he used to.. Of course, he is 80 years old so that may have something to do with it.

-To the game.. As expected, Ohio State will put a lot of tempo offense in their playbook with Kevin Wilson at the controls.... The one thing encouraging to the Buckeyes is a couple guys that have been in their program a long time, WRs Johnny Dixon and Terry McLaurin, played very well and showed leadership... That is all about player development.

-Their TEs are going to play much better than last year.

-Their o-line is solidified at 4 of the 5 spots but not a lot of depth. The freshmen may be very good but Meyer will try to redshirt them if possible.

-D-line is really deep and will probably be deeper, come the fall.

-DBs started slow but ended the game much better.... AT DB, look for lots of underclassmen including freshmen to get PT early for the Buckeyes.

-STRENGTH OF THE TEAM TODAY was at QB.....They played Barrett a few series but not much of a drop off with Burrow and Haskins..... They are 2 and 2A as far as being behind Barrett.. Both were REALLY REALLY SHARP today.

-Watch the freshman RB JK Dobbins.. I have a feeling he is going to be a really good one, if he stays healthy.

*****LOTS OF EARLY ENROLEES AT OHIO STATE.......That will benefit those freshmen whether they redshirt or not..... The freshmen who came in early that will redshirt, will have 2 spring practices under their belts before seeing the field, which is a huge benefit in learning*****
