Recapping the top performers on offense and defense for Minnesota in Saturday's 23-13 win over Wisconsin, according to Pro Football Focus analytics.

PFF Ratings Reference:

- 60-70 = average numbers for college
- 71-84 = above average to great starters
- 85+ is elite

Top Five Offensive Performers with at least 20 snaps:

Tanner Morgan - 81.7
Brevyn Spann-Ford - 71.9
Daniel Jackson - 68.4
Ky Thomas - 65.3
Daniel Fa'alele - 64.8

- Tanner Morgan was the top graded player on the entire offense yesterday. For all the ups and downs he's had, it is fun to see him play a great game and win the Axe.
- Interesting that Daniel Jackson, not Chris Autman-Bell, is the top graded wideout with at least 20 snaps. Dylan Wright was the top graded wideout total (77.6) but only nine snaps.
- Ko Kieft was the worst graded player interesting enough on the entire offense (51.4) with a rare down game. Mostly due to a poor pass blocking grade (20.3).

Top 5 Defensive Performers with at least 20 snaps:

Jack Gibbens - 72.1
Michael Dixon - 71.7
Boye Mafe - 67.9
Coney Durr - 66.7
Justin Walley - 65.3

- Jack Gibbens. What a season he has had for the Maroon & Gold. Finishes off the season with an outstanding game versus Wisconsin.
- To win a rivalry game against a ranked team, your best players have to play well and be the best players. Mafe, Durr, Gibbens all did that yesterday.
- Justin Walley was tested often and responded with a positive game including a game-changing interception. It was so fun to watch him progress this year. He will be an All-Big Ten type player in the next couple years.
