- Can't respond about not getting the TO call.
- Murphy has grown and has fit in with this Minnesota team, which is different.
- There was a lot of really good things for us. We were much better in the second half defensively.
- Springs and Coffey were both working hard defending Jok. I think they were just trying to keep fresh legs on Pete.
- My success definitely started with my rebounding. I was focused on offensive rebounding and defensive rebounding.

- Coach trusts me enough, so when I saw Pentzl switch on me, I knew he couldn't stay in front of me so I went at him.
- We came in wanting to work and get better after Illinois. We were sore but we came into work. It will be the same getting ready for Rutgers.
- We were playing timid during the bad second half stretch.
- Before the game, Pitino showed us clips of Kansas and how they were tied with Kansas State but pushed through.
- I didn't run a play for Murphy. He didn't make any jump shots. I made a comment that he's not a great scorer, and that's not a knock on him. He needs to find it and he found it tonight.
- We talked about making winning plays, and I showed them the Kansas vs. Kansas State plays because Frank Mason made a winning play. In order to win league games, rivalry games, those are the type of plays you need to make. You're going to be exhausted but you just need to fight through.
- This is a fun team to root for. Since we've lost games at home, I'm not sure the town sees it yet because our best wins have come on the road. We're sitting in a great spot.
- We had a really bad couple of minutes against the trap.
- A couple times we rotated wrong and that's why Jok had so many. We also sent him to the free throw line too long.
