Minnesota will play its tenth season at TCF Bank Stadium this fall

Ten years at TCF!
When Minnesota kicks off the season next Thursday, it will mark the 10th season that college football has been back on campus at TCF Bank Stadium. The Gophers christened the stadium with a 20-13 win against Air Force on Sept. 12, 2009. Minnesota is 36-27 overall at TCF Bank Stadium, which is a 57.14 winning percentage.
In addition to hosting the Gophers, TCF Bank Stadium has become the marquee venue in Minnesota to host outdoor events. TCF Bank Stadium has hosted Gopher hockey games, Monday Night Football, NHL Stadium Series, an international soccer match, MLB All-Star concert, U2, Rolling Stones, Beyonce, One Direction, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line. The Minnesota Vikings (2014-15) and Minnesota United (2017-18) played seasons at TCF Bank Stadium, while their new stadiums were being built.
