The Gophers take to the road this week for the second time this season when they visit No. 3 Ohio State.
Minnesota's most recent win in the series was a 29-17 victory on the road on Oct. 14, 2000. That game, which was 18 years ago this weekend, featured a quick start by the Gophers as they jumped out to a 17-3 lead in the first quarter.
Travis Cole passed for 243 yards and two scores, while Ron Johnson caught eight balls for 163 yards and one score. Tellis Redmon scored once and churned out 118 yards on 30 carries, and kicker Dan Nystrom connected on field goals from 23, 32 and 42 yards.
