The Golden Gophers host the Miami RedHawks at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, at TCF Bank Stadium. The projected high for Saturday is 89 degrees, which means the game should be one of the warmest ever played at TCF Bank Stadium.

Minnesota has played four games at the on-campus stadium where kick-time temperatures have eclipsed 80 degrees. The warmest game was 92 degrees when Minnesota opened the 2013 season with a win against UNLV. The other three home games that Minnesota played in 80-degree weather were against New Mexico State (88 degrees in 2011), TCU (82 degrees in 2015) and Air Force (80 degrees in 2009).

Minnesota has played two games at TCF Bank Stadium this year. The temperature was 77 degrees (fifth warmest game at TCF Bank Stadium) when the Gophers beat New Mexico State and 72 degrees (ninth warmest game at TCF Bank Stadium) when Minnesota topped Fresno State.

Minnesota is 38-27 all-time at TCF Bank Stadium and 11-3 when the temperature eclipses 70 degrees.
