Do you guys like this move??? I guess time will tell if its successful.. I do think that this is a better management of Dupree's time... Dupree is in a position to be the backup PG so this probably helps to cut back on Nate Mason's minutes a bit.

The article states that Pitino said this is not a demotion for Dupree McBrayer...This is to get scoring on the floor and help manage minutes better, I am guessing. McBrayer actually scores more but Springs has a better point average if you figure points per minute. I am certain that Springs will get more minutes in the next few games, unless there is foul trouble or injury.. I like that Pitino is tweaking some things.. At least, give it a try to see what happens. Springs is certainly built strong, athletically, and I am sure has the strength and endurance to handle the extra minutes. I pray that helps make a difference in the next few games.
