A few notes from Coach Kill's Sunday interview with Sid and Dave:
--KiAnte Hardin Colton Beebe, Tyler Moore, Julian Huff and Shannon Brooks are true freshman the coach has said will not redshirt.
--He says Payton Jordahl is in line to take over long snapping duties. He said Payton also does a nice job of running down and tackling, which is something they've been lacking in their long snappers.
--Had high praise for a bunch of guys: Nick Connelly, Connor Mayes, Quinn Oseland, Demry Croft, Nate Wozniak, Rashad Still, Melvin Holland to name a few.
--He wouldn't say exactly how they plan to use Streveler, but did say he is very fast and difficult to tackle.
---Players are off today and tomorrow. Coaching are meeting to go over depth charts and make decisions on who plays.
---Sid says the TCU game is about 1,000 seats short of a sell out.
--Coach said this is their most talented freshman class they've brought in since he's been here.
--Coach said they plan to redshirt several defensive backs. He didn't name any names. Maybe Buford and Dior? Not suprising since the secondary is very talented with a bunch of seniors.
--Kill said they will need to do a good job of recruiting defensive ends and replacing the talent they'll be losing there.
--Sid wants to buy a hat like the one Coach Kill has been sporting throughout fall camp.
