The real stats on welfare vs. work in America

114 million Americans work full-time. 106 million Americans receive welfare.

In 1980, 1/3 of the federal budget was entitlements. Now it's 2/3. (This includes Social Security.)

For means-tested entitlements (welfare): In 1980, 18% of Americans received it. Now 35% receive it.


I won't get political and mention which party is in favor of all this welfare and bribes these people for votes. I just think that everyone should know the real numbers. The media buries this info.
