Pitino and the basketball program haven't reached out to him at all (or at least recently) and I don't think he's talked about playing basketball too much with the football coaches yet either, so know that that idea is very much preliminary. He has the talent to be a Bryant Allen-esque walk-on, though. He's a bouncy slasher that developed a workable but not great jumper. He has potential to be a great defender and is already an excellent rebounding guard.
