Kimani has kept in close contact with Tyler Kohl. It's interestimg the amount of contact that this staff is having with both Ellison and Kohl. I'd guess that Ellison is higher on the board but we'll see. Ellison has been picking up more and more offers but has yet to set up any more visits, so I think the Gophers sit well for now.
The staff has done a good job of recruiting both Tyler and his brother. His brother is a college coach and can probably sense fluff from a mile away, and says that Kimani and Pitino have been very genuine and real throughout the process.
You'll also read that Minnesota is really the only school on him right now. That's especially noteworthy because I don't believe that his brother knew I was a Minnesota writer.
