Nobody hates Iowa football more than I do. Nobody. But one of the most amazing accomplishments in college football history took place in Iowa City when Hayden Fry first came there. His early staffs contained FIVE future members of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Fry was the first to be inducted, followed by Barry Alvarez. Bill Snyder will be in the Hall, if he ever retires. So will Bobby Stoops. The fifth member will be Kirk Ferentz. His claim to fame will the fact that he will retire with over 100 wins within the Big Ten conference. Less than a handful of B10 coaches have ever accomplished that feat.
