You will laugh at me and think I am weird when I tell you my favorite music is Southern Gospel Quartet music. Not barbershop style but more of the blues based, or toe tapping stuff.. And the slower songs as well... When I lived in Atlanta, I lived very close to a lot of the legends of Southern Gospel and went to school with their kids and grandkids. So I got to be friends with many of them. I still think when a bass singer rattles the speakers with a low note where I feel it throughout my body at the end of a phrase of a song, is the best thing in singing music!! HUGE FAN of the bass singers.
THAT SAID, I still have an affinity for classic rock.. Not hard rock so much but classic rock.... My groups that I could listen to for days are REO SPEEDWAGON, FOREIGNER, ELO, ZZ TOP, and TOM PETTY... Simple music that is incredible!! I listened to some of this music and I just cant get enough of it.. Love my old classical rock music!!!
